Clear Acrylic Sheet:
The most common acrylic form, clear sheet flexibility is proven mainly by various surprising dimensions that can be ordered. Acrylic property & Application:
Acrylic (polymethyl methacrylate or PMMA) is a transparent plastic that is known to be more common by the trade name “Plexiglass ™” The material is similar to polycarbonate because it is suitable for use as an alternative to collision against the glass. It was first produced in 1928 and was taken to market five years later by Rohm and Haas Company. This is generally considered the most obvious plastic available.

Acrylic is an incredibly useful plastic for applications requiring transparency where high impact resistance is not a primary concern. It can be cut into extremely fine shapes using laser cutting technology, as the material vaporizes upon impact with concentrated laser energy. Acrylic thermoplastics are renowned for their excellent weather resistance. They also offer good impact strength, formability, and excellent resistance to sunlight, weather, and most chemicals.

Standard grades are rated as slow-burning, but a special self-extinguishing grade is available. Although acrylic plastic weighs less than half as much as glass, it has significantly greater impact resistance. As a thermal insulator, it is approximately 20% more efficient than glass. Additionally, it is both tasteless and odorless.
